Textron subsidiary Bell Helicopter announced a change of name on 22 February, as part of a rebranding strategy that will see it referred to simply as “Bell”. The company also unveiled a new dragonfly themed logo that it said represented its desire to achieve mastery of flight.
In a statement Bell president and CEO Mitch Snyder said, “Bell has always been about more than just helicopters. Our team has spent the past 80 years pushing the boundaries of flight, and now we will accurately reflect that quest.”
