Lockheed Martin officially opened its new Australian headquarters on 19 February in an effort to drive further expansion in the country.
The corporation said the facility, in which Lockheed Martin invested AUD12 million (USD9.5 million), will be its centre for in-country corporate and business functions as well as home to a new ‘endeavour centre’, which is intended to support collaborative projects with partners in local industry and academia.
Vince Di Pietro, the chief executive of Lockheed Martin Australia said the facility had been designed to enhance the experience for partners to “engage, explore, test, conceptualise and problem solve through innovation and enterprise”.
