Taiwanese Black Hawk medevac helicopter goes missing

A Taiwanese UH-60M Black Hawk medevac helicopter carrying six people has gone missing off the southeastern coast of Taiwan after picking up a patient on Orchid Island.

The platform, operated by the National Airborne Service Corps (NASC), vanished from radar screens shortly after 23:48 h (local time) on 5 February while on a return flight to Taitung County, the NASC said in a statement.
