The FMV said on its website on 30 January that the order is for four Däcksbro 300s as an option under a previous contract.

In a 31 January press release, GDELS gave a delivery schedule for the first systems starting in 2020. It added that legacy floating support bridges (FSBs) previously delivered by GDELS-Germany in Kaiserslautern would be upgraded.

The 200 m-long Däcksbro 300 is a development of the Däcksbro 200 FSB with a higher load capacity, allowing two-way traffic, according to the FMV.
