Danish company Terma has outlined an intention to expand in the Asia Pacific by deepening regional alliances and leveraging its strong emphasis on value for money, a company executive has told Jane’s .
Speaking before the Singapore Airshow 2018, which starts on 6 February, Terma’s Jørn Henrik Levy Rasmussen, senior vice-president for market development, said the company aims to increase its profile in several regional countries.
Terma, which specialises in aeronautics, space technologies, and surveillance/mission systems – with the latter including radars, naval command-and-control systems, and naval self-protection systems – already has regional offices in Singapore and India.
“We are building up our local offices and expanding the number of people we have employed in the region not just in sales but also in competencies on the application side,” he said.
