T-2E Buckeye crashes in Greece

A Hellenic Air Force T-2E Buckeye twin-engine intermediate jet trainer crashed in southern Greece on 3 January while on a routine training flight from Kalamata Air Base.

Having taken off at 1100 h local time, the crew reported an initial engine failure 55 minutes into the flight and decided to return to base. Shortly afterwards the second engine also failed, however, forcing both crew members to abandon the aircraft; they ejected successfully.
