Brazil pursues defence industrial co-operation with the UAE

Brazil’s Defence Minister Raul Jungmann met with Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the United Arab Emirates’ (UAE) Armed Forces, Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, on 7 December, as part of a visit designed to boost defence industrial partnerships between the two countries.

As part of the trip Jungmann visited UAE state-owned investment company Mubadala and defence manufacturer Tawazun, as well as meeting with Defence Minister Mohammed bin Ahmed Al Bowardi.

In a statement released by the Brazilian Ministry of Defence (MoD), Jungmann highlighted the value of diplomatic efforts in establishing international co-operation in technology and industrial innovation.
