Saudi Arabia intercepts another ballistic missile

A ballistic missile launched from Yemen towards the southern Saudi city of Khamis Mushayt on 30 November was intercepted, according to the Saudi Press Agency.

The interception took place at 2020 h (1920 GMT), the news agency reported on 1 December.

The Yemeni rebels announced that they had carried out a successful test of an unidentified medium-range ballistic missile against an unspecified military target in Saudi Arabia to mark the Prophet Muhammad’s birthday.
