Strat Aero and Alnahdi Aviation Technology (AAT) have signed a teaming agreement to establish an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) training in centre in Saudi Arabia.
The centre will be used to train both military and civilian pilots and sensor operators, and will utilise Strat Aero’s UAV training course and digital management course data and progress tracking system, which will be transferred to Saudi.
The two companies will work to develop a business model for the UAV centre under the terms of the agreement, with an anticipated demand of 50 crew sets comprising two individuals per set, per year, which is expected to increase over time as demand grows, Strat Aero notes.
