Denmark seeks precision rifles

15 November 2017

The Danish Defence Acquisition and Logistics Organisation (DALO) announced two separate requests for bids on 3 November, one for a short range Precision Sniper Rifle (PSR) and the other for a medium range Precision Rifle Medium (PRM).

DALO is seeking a PSR that is a semi-automatic rifle chambered in 7.62x51 mm NATO with good ergonomics and weight balance. It should be capable of fast, accurate, and concentrated firepower to defeat targets at distances up to a range of 800 m. The weapon is required to be able to obtain a high follow-up on a fixed target, moving target, and several moving targets at short ranges.
