Australia’s defence industry is increasing its links with Poland, as the country looks to grow its presence in the country.

As part of this, Australian cable and harness company Cablex announced the opening of an office in Warsaw on 30 October as part of the company’s efforts to expand its international presence. Cablex also signed a memorandum of intent (MoI) with Poland’s WB Electronics, with the two companies to collaborate on WB Electronics’ command-and-control systems and unmanned aerial vehicles.

Cablex added in a statement that the company would be supporting a number of aviation clients that already have manufacturing bases in Poland, including Airbus, Leonardo, and Lockheed Martin.
