CAE USA plans to expand its Dothan Training Center (DTC) in southeast Alabama, which just opened in March, company president and general manager Ray Duquette told reporters on 28 September.

The DTC is a 79,000-square-foot (1.81 acres) facility located at the Dothan Regional Airport and its primary customer is the US Army under its Fixed-Wing Flight Training programme, according to company briefing slides. The programme also serves as the formal training unit for recurrent training for the US Army and US Air Force (USAF) C-12 Huron and other variants of the Beechcraft King Air aircraft such as the RC-12 Guardrail electronic intelligence (ELINT) platform.
