Batteries and chargers have become indispensable in modern life, including in the military, and the technologies involved undergo constant improvement.

Lincad of the UK (Hall 5, Stand L657) has secured significant orders from Danish Defence for a range of its lithium-ion power system (LIPS) batteries and chargers.

Danish Defence now incorporates the Royal Danish Army, the Royal Danish Navy, the Royal Danish Air Force and the Danish Home Guard. It is responsible for the defence of Denmark and its overseas territories, Greenland and the Faroe Islands, as well as for NATO participation.

As a leader in the design and manufacture of bespoke batteries, chargers and power management systems, Lincad’s LIPS batteries are continually being improved in terms of capacity and energy density.

This is achieved through the integration of new cell technology and enhanced mechanical and electronic design.
