The Ukraine State Enterprise for Foreign Trade and Investment (Promoboronexport) (Hall 3, Stand A303) has brought its latest production standard Dozor-B (4x4) armoured personnel carrier (APC), which can be seen on outdoor stand OD130.

The Dozor-B is manufactured by the Lvov facility and can be fitted with a range of roof-mounted weapons, from an unprotected 12.7mm machine gun to various remote-controlled weapon stations.

The vehicle being shown here is fitted with a roof-mounted protected weapon station, armed with a 7.62mm and a 12.7mm machine gun, 30mm automatic grenade launcher and a rocket launcher.

In addition to the commander and driver seated to the rear of the protected engine compartment, the Dozor-B can carry six dismounts seated on blast-attenuating seats in the raised troop compartment at the rear.

They can rapidly enter and leave the vehicle via a large door in the hull rear.

Dozor-B is powered by a German diesel engine coupled to a fully automatic Allison transmission, which gives a top road speed of 120km/h and an operating range of about 700km.

The hull is of all-welded steel and standard equipment includes powered steering, spall liners, a nuclear, biological and chemical overpressure system, front-mounted winch and a fire detection and suppression system.

It can be fitted with a central tyre inflation system or run-flat tyres.

As well as being used as an APC, the Dozor-B is also targeted at more specialised roles such as ambulance, command post vehicle and weapons carrier.
