- The USN will rescind its stop work order on 10 January
- Raytheon will now begin the EMD phase of the next-generation radar
Lockheed Martin on 10 January announced it was withdrawing its protest of the US Navy (USN) awarding a contract to Raytheon for the Air and Missile Defense Radar (AMDR).
In a statement Lockheed Martin said that after obtaining additional information company officials believed it was in everyone's best interest to withdraw the protest.
"Lockheed Martin protested the navy's award of the AMDR contract because we believed the merits of our offering were not properly considered during the evaluation process," the company said.
