At IHS, Corporate Sustainability is vital to the way we do business and is a critical aspect of our values and our culture. For 2012, IHS added a fifth goal, Corporate Sustainability, to the company goals.
To achieve this goal, IHS will focus on improving its public reporting and provide greater insight regarding environmental and social dimensions; increase its focus on metrics, tracking and goal setting on operational eco-efficiency; continue its commitment to and support of citizenship and philanthropy, and continue its corporate governance focus. More
IHS is committed to the highest ethical conduct as outlined in the IHS code of conduct in all aspects of business, including Human Rights, Labor, Environment and Anti-Corruption. IHS operates from our core values of Teamwork, Respect, Accountability, Integrity and Innovation as demonstrated every day by all colleagues, management and the board.
IHS actively embraces, supports and enacts within our sphere of influence these core values, and is involved in global discussions and actions, on many levels in this regard.
This includes, for example, involvement in, and as a signatory to, the World Economic Forum, Partnership Against Corruption (PACI). And at the local level, IHS colleagues contribute to, and work within communities around the world to improve life and the sustainability of communities for others through volunteering and philanthropic efforts, with a focus on advancing education, health and wellness and environmental sustainability.
