Canada detains four on terrorist charges

Canadian citizens Hiva Alizadeh and Misbahuddin Ahmed were arrested in Ottawa on 25 August, with Khurram Sher arrested the following day in London, Ontario. All three were subsequently charged with conspiracy to facilitate terrorism under the anti-terrorism act, with Alizadeh also charged with possessing explosives and providing property for a terrorist organisation.
