Non-Subscriber ExtractFast-track biometric security programme attracts more international airports |

Air travellers leaving the United States will be able to take wider advantage of the Global Entry streamlined security process, after 13 more airports joined the programme on 24 August.
Global Entry is a US Customs and Border Protection (CBP) programme that enables registered travellers to pass through fingerprint-based biometric checkpoints before boarding. The programme began in June 2008 and has been used to date by around 16,000 members at the following international airports: Atlanta, Chicago O'Hare, Houston Intercontinental, Los Angeles, New York JFK, Miami and Washington Dulles.
Enrolment booths and kiosks are also now in operation at: Boston Logan, Dallas Fort Worth, Detroit Metropolitan, Fort Lauderdale, Honolulu, Las Vegas McCarran, Newark Liberty, Orlando, Sanford, Philadelphia, San Juan, Puerto Rico, San Francisco and Seattle.
