The Kuwaiti Interior Ministry has received 20 VBLs fitted with the Protector weapon station (Panhard General Defense)
France's Panhard General Defense has completed deliveries of 20 Véhicule Blindé Léger Mk 2 4x4 light armoured vehicles to the Kuwaiti Interior Ministry.
The fleet, ordered in 2008, is configured for patrol and surveillance missions in urban areas and is fitted with a loudspeaker and a Kongsberg Protech Systems M151A2 Protector remotely operated weapon station with a 12.7 mm heavy machine gun, smoke grenades and sensors.
