Aermacchi scoops UAE trainer prizeYesterday afternoon the UAE announced that it had selected the Alenia Aermacchi M-346 Master for the UAE Air Force and Air Defence. A total of 48 M-346s will be supplied for both advanced training and the combat air support role.

CNIA contracts AIS for training services
Security integration and facilitation group Advanced Integrated Systems (AIS) has been awarded two contracts worth a combined AED767m (£144m) to provide operational and technical training for the UAE’s Critical National Infrastructure Authority (CNIA).
