UK company Kylmar, a specialist in high-performance electro-optic systems and equipment for a wide range of surveillance missions, has made a significant investment to bring a number of products to IDEX for the first time to demonstrate its capabilities.

Its centrepiece is a long-range surveillance camera mounted on a tower above Stand OD514, displaying high-quality images of local features several kilometres away. Marketing director John Kyle-Henney said: “We already do business in the region and participating at IDEX was an essential step in developing our strategy to establish a permanent presence in the Middle East.” Sales director Peter Spencer added: “Our commitment has been fully justified. We will definitely be here in 2009.”
