Italy’s natural flair for design has led ARS Optical to become a leading supplier of glasses to civilian markets. Now the ISO 9001 quality-certified company has applied its technology and know-how to meeting military needs.
Visitors to the company’s Stand D200j may inspect and try on its new Arsenik range of tactical eyewear, developed after consulting Marine Corps and other potential military and police users. The Arsenik glasses presented at Eurosatory are said to be extremely comfortable but ready for action. Weighing only 22g, the squared frames are made in TR90 and shaped to give a precise fit and provide perfect vision.
The polycarbonate lenses have a special antifog treatment so that they will not steam up in any conditions. Other features include high quality in transmission of light and impact resistance. Double anti-fog lenses are also available on goggles, including a model that has ballistic-tested lenses. Great care has been taken to ensure that the ARS glasses and goggles may be worn with or without a helmet.
