Fleet management potential for ABRO

Frazer-Nash wins UK MoD contract
Frazer-Nash has won a UK Ministry of Defence (MoD) contract to support development of the projected Maritime Airborne Surveillance and Control (MASC) programme, intended to provide an assured air surveillance and command and control capability as part of the UK’s future carrier strike capability. Frazer-Nash will assist in developing requirements for MASC, as well as defining the acceptance strategy and undertaking a risk assessment.

Symetrics Industries awarded contract from US Army
Symetrics Industries LLC has been awarded a contract from the US Army for about 300 Improved Data Modems for installation aboard army aircraft. The contract is worth between USD7 million and USD8 million, subject to final negotiations. The IDM-304 variant specified is the US Army version of the Improved Data Modem system supplied by Symetrics to the US Air Force for more than 14 years.
