World first in water filtration

Monday, 10 September, 2007

Lifesaver Systems has launched a product described as the world’s first all-in-one water bottle to filter all waterborne pathogens without the aid of chemicals.
Featured on stand 2021, the Lifesaver personal water filtration system has a 6,000-litre operation capacity and removes bacteria, viruses, cysts, parasites, fungi and all other waterborne pathogens without the aid of foultasting chemicals such as iodine or chlorine.
The Lifesaver bottle incorporates failsafe technology, which when the cartridge has expired, shuts the system off, protecting the user from contamination. The system is claimed to revolutionise the battlespace, by reducing carried weight for the soldier, and lessen the traditional logistical demands of drinking water faced by militaries around the world.
