VHF/UHF antenna range for wideband communications

Specialist Antennas Solutions (Stand 1291), in partnership with Star-H Corporation, has expanded its range of rugged, lightweight, wideband antennas suited to tactical deployments for communications applications requiring large instantaneous bandwidths.
The range includes the SH-1002, a 130-500MHz wideband dipole antenna offering gain of 1.5-2.5dBiwith a voltage standing wave ratio (VSWR) across the whole band of less than 3:1. Similar in construction, but with larger dimensions, the SH- 1003 is a 30-90MHz wideband dipole antenna with similar RF characteristics to the SH-1002.
Both antennas can be quickly assembled and disassembled, allowing them to be transported efficiently and rapidly deployed. They provide an attractive alternative to using multiple antennas to cover the required bandwidth of field communications.
