Now in their 8th year the Annual ATC Awards have established themselves for recognising and rewarding excellence within the ATM industry.
Brought to you by Jane's Airport Review the awards recognise endeavour and achievement in air traffic management, and help to raise awareness of contributions made across the industry. This year’s nominations span three continents, and include small and multinational organisations.
There are six awards, designed to reward new developments as well as collaborative ventures. The winners are selected by a panel of senior representatives from the Federal Aviation Administration, Eurocontrol, IATA, CANSO and Jane’s Information Group.
The Award Categories are:
Enabling Technology Award – for contribution to enhanced capacity and safety
Industry Award – reflects a significant contribution by equipment suppliers
Development Award – for small enterprises which have raised ATM performance
Service Provision Award – for contribution to safe and efficient airspace management
Future Systems Award – for the development of future solutions

Recognising and rewarding outstanding achievement in community policing across the full spectrum of a police career - from probationer to the year of retirement
Sixteen years of recognition
Now in its sixteenth year, the Jane's Police Review Gala Awards are widely known as the most prestigious and high-profile of their kind in the UK. They recognise the achievements of police officers involved in community policing across England, Wales and Northern Ireland and promote a positive side of police work, which seldom gets the publicity it deserves - uniting inspirational officers from probationers to those in their retirement year.
The Jane's Police Review Gala Awards will take place at The Horticultural Halls in London on the Thursday 13th November 2008.
The event attracts attendance of the most senior and influential figures in policing and government.

Jane’s Transport Finance Awards
This glittering awards ceremony celebrating the successes of bankers, lawyers and other finance professionals throughout the year.
Now in their 9th year, Jane’s Transport Finance Awards will take place on Wednesday 28th November at the Merchant Taylors' Hall in London. The awards recognise the immense effort and skill of financiers, bankers and lawyers working within the transport finance industry. Awards are given in the aircraft, airport, rail and shipping sectors with the winners each judged on a specific deal which demonstrates that their finance house or bank has shown particular innovation and skill in securing finance for transportation assets. The awards will be judged by a panel of leading experts and Jane’s Transport Finance editorial team.
