The 75th Ranger Regiment operate British made Land Rover 110s modified for Special Operations duties including the fitting of a 0.50inch machine gun.These were purchased after Operation Just Cause when it became clear that the Rangers airborne/air assault role required an airportable heavy armed vehicle which could be loaded inside an MH47E Chinook sized helicopter. Rangers also use 250cc Suzuki Motor Bikes.
