Payment Information
The information contained on this page will help you when placing your order by phone or mail.
The three payment methods accepted by IHS Jane's are:
- Credit Card (Visa, Mastercard, American Express)
- Cheque or Money Transfer
- Jane's Credit Account
Credit Card
If you are paying by credit card we will not charge your card account until the publication month of each product ordered. Please ensure that you quote a valid expiry date for the whole of your order.
IHS Jane's Credit Account
If you have a IHS Jane's Credit Account, it helps us to process your order faster if you quote your account number on all orders and correspondence. If you would like to open a IHS Jane’s Credit Account please contact your local Sales Representative.
Purchase Order Numbers
If your organisation provides Purchase Order Numbers, please write the number in the space on the order form.
UK/RoW Payment Information
Cheque
Payment by cheque also includes: bank drafts (drawn on a UK a bank), international money orders, giro transfers and bank transfers). If you are paying by one of the transfer methods, please contact us for our bank details.
All payments should be paid in pounds sterling (unless otherwise agreed). Please ensure that bank charges are not deducted from the amount due to us. When payment is made in advance, we always send you a receipted invoice.
Sales Tax
For non-UK customers within the European Union (EU), sales tax (e.g. VAT/TVA) may have to be applied to your order, including shipping and handling costs in accordance with EU regulations.You can avoid this tax by quoting your local sales tax number in the space provided on your order form.
US Payment Information
Sales Tax
Sales tax applies to all orders shipped to Canada, Virginia, Florida or Massachusetts. If you are tax exempt, please submit a copy of your tax exemption certificate with your order. For more details please contact your local Sales Representative.
