Two R-2 class SDVs.One R-1 class SDVs, one-man, chariot type.Unknown number of locally built SDVs of various types - usually built for export.Croatian Naval Infantry: 200 strong with headquarters at Split: a move to Dubrovnik is under consideration. Reported to be grouped into three Independent infantry companies divided between Pula, Sibenik and Ploce, each of which can call upon 300 mixed MBTs (assuming an unlikely level of operational capability) and 15 attack helicopters (including Mi-8s) for support. The 4th Guards Brigade (based at Split) transferred to the Croatian Navy as a naval infantry unit in January 2002.Much of the littoral and the many islands are unsuitable for tank warfare and more suited for small-scale, amphibious landings.Diving Company: 60 strong. Five diving teams tasked with only military duties.
