Thales has inaugurated a new office in India as part of its plans to “double its footprint” in the country over the next few years.
The French group said on 20 April that its new premises in Bangalore “resonates with [its] ambition of strengthening its industrial footprint and local team in India”.
This plan is focused on boosting Thales’ efforts to secure contracts to supply systems and technologies in support of India’s investment in naval shipbuilding and military aerospace.
Commenting on its expanding profile in the market, Thales said India is “one of the top three priority countries” for the company.
