The Australian Department of Defence’s research and development arm – the Defence Science and Technology (DST) Group – has announced a partnership with industry and academia to develop new weapons technologies.

It added that the C2W programme is being led by defence researcher Ninh Duong. “This exciting new technology that we are developing for the ADF will provide the capability to neutralise the enemy while protecting friendly forces nearby,” Duong said.
