Counter unmanned aerial vehicles (UAV) start-up Citadel has announced that it has secured venture capital (VC) funding of USD12 million.
The group secured the investment from Lightspeed Venture Partners.
US-based Citadel was established in 2016 and has developed counter-UAV systems based on signal analysis and signal defeat technologies.
It works with the US Department of Defense and the Defense Innovation Unit Experimental (DIUX); the US government backed agency to leverage innovative commercial technologies into defence domains.
