North Korea has conducted a military parade in Pyongyang to mark the 70th anniversary of the foundation of the Korean People’s Army.
The event, which took place on 8 February, a day before the start of the 2018 Winter Olympics in the South Korean county of Pyeongchang, appears to have been curtailed compared with previous ones.
South Korean Yonhap news agency quoted an unnamed source as saying that the parade lasted only about 90 minutes and featured a reduced programme.
