EPP militants release two Mennonite men in Paraguay

TWO Mennonite men - identified as Bernhard Blatz and Franz Hiebert - were released by Ejercito del Pueblo Paraguayo (EPP) militants in an undisclosed location in Paraguay on 5 February after being held hostage after being kidnapped in an unspecified location on 1 September 2017, BBC News reported. Reports added that the two hostages were released after the relatives of Blatz paid ransoms of USD 750,000 and relatives of Hiebert paid USD 500,000.
