US firm AMETEK has announced two acquisitions, worth a total of USD273 million.
The first – California-based FMH Aerospace – was valued at USD235 million. The company specialises in the manufacture of pipes and ducting systems for commercial and military aircraft and aero-engines, with its products being used in sonobuoy launchers and aerial refuelling systems. The company was sold by private equity group Industrial Growth Partners.
The second acquisition – Arizona Instrument – was valued at USD38 million.
