Suspected VBIED attack kills at least seven Hayat Tahrir al-Sham militants in Syria's Deraa

ACCORDNG to the pro-opposition Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, at least seven Hayat Tahrir al-Sham militants - including two leaders - were killed and 10 others were wounded when an unspecified explosive device, emplaced by unidentified militants, detonated near the town of al-Museirfah in Syria's Deraa governorate on 29 January. No group immediately claimed responsibility for the attack. Casualty figures provided by the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights cannot be independently verified but have been assessed to be the most reliable. SMART News Agency reported that the detonation was caused by a vehicle-borne improvised explosive device (VBIED).
