The Unmanned Systems Division of Kratos Defense & Security Solutions is opening new facilities in Oklahoma City to accommodate expected increased demand for high-performance, jet-powered unmanned aerial tactical and target drone systems.
Kratos is initially occupying an 8,800 ft² facility close to Tinker Air Force Base, where the initial focus will be on engineering and production planning. Within six months, the company plans to expand into a 75,000 ft² facility to support its initial production efforts in Oklahoma City.
Born out of the acquisition of Composite Engineering Inc (CEi) in 2012, the Unmanned Systems Division of Kratos has established itself as a market leader in the design, development, and manufacture of aerial target drones for the US military and international customers.
