Indian Navy MiG-29K fighter involved in accident at NAS Hansa

An Indian Navy (IN) MiG-29K fighter was involved in an accident at the Naval Air Station (NAS) Hansa in Goa during a training sortie on 3 January.

The pilot of the aircraft aborted the flight after the MiG-29K veered off the end of the runway during take-off and caught fire, according to the Indian government’s Press Information Bureau (PIB).
