Hanwha secures communications contract

South Korean firm Hanwha Systems has secured a contract to deliver the second stage of its networked communications system for the Republic of Korea Army (RoKA), the company announced on 29 December.

Hanwha Systems said its contract with the Defense Acquisition Program Administration (DAPA) is worth KRW461.6 billion (USD432.6 million) and calls for an extension of its Tactical Information Communication Network (TICN) project.
