Police conduct operations in Germany

POLICE conducted counter-terrorism raid operations in nine locations in Germany's capital Berlin and in the state of Saxony-Anhalt on 14 December as part of an investigation into four suspected Islamic State militants, aged between 18 and 21, who were alleged to have been planning to conduct an attack, Reuters reported. Two of the suspects were alleged to be in Syria and a third was suspected of having received military training in Syria. The fourth suspect allegedly assisted the other individuals in travelling to Syria.
