Court convicts eight LeT militants in India's Rajasthan

AT A COURT in Jaipur in India's Rajasthan state on 1 December, eight Lashkar-e-Tayyiba (LeT) militants - including three Pakistani nationals - were convicted under the Unlawful Activities Act on charges of conspiracy, recruiting persons for terrorist activities, and being members of a terrorist organisation, Daily Excelsior reported. All eight people were arrested in either 2010 or 2011. The punishment for the convicted militants was set to be announced on 4 December.
