IED attack targets residence of Minister of Cooperatives and Poverty Alleviation in Nepal's Baglung

AN IMPROVISED explosive device (IED), emplaced by unidentified assailants, detonated targeting the residence of the Minister of Cooperatives and Poverty Alleviation and House of Representatives candidate - identified as Champadevi Khadka - in Laligurans Chowk in Nepal's Baglung District on 20 November, Republica reported. Reports did not contain details of any casualties. No group immediately claimed responsibility for the attack. Police stated that the attack was intended to intimidate the candidate.
