WZL-1 has not revealed the origin of the helicopters, but Jane’s has previously reported that the three Senegalese Mi-24Vs are ex-Slovakian Armed Forces aircraft that were acquired by a Polish company in 2015. Another two Mi-24Vs from the same source were refurbished by WZL-1 and delivered to Cameroon in 2016.
