Explosives attack targets UCPN-M leader in Nepal's Rapti

UNIDENTIFIED militants threw two unspecified explosive devices - only one of which detonated - at a vehicle carrying Unified Communist Party of Nepal - Maoist (UCPN-M) leader and political candidate Janardan Sharma in Chaujahari municipality in Rukum district in Nepal's Rapti zone on 10 November, The Himalayan times reported. No casualties were reported. No group immediately claimed responsibility for the attack, but officials alleged that the Netra Bikram Chand-led faction of the UCPN-M to have been involved.
