JNIM claims responsibility for ambush that killed five people in Mali's Mopti

IN A STATEMENT released on 1 November, Jamaat Nusrat al-Islam wal-Muslimin (JNIM) claimed responsibility for an ambush on a convoy of Mali's High Court Justice president and reinforcing soldiers in Mali's Mopti region on 31 October, in which five people had been killed and an unspecified number of others wounded, BBC Monitoring reported. The claim could not be independently verified.
