USN cyber-mission force teams reach FOC

The US Navy’s Cyber Mission Force (CMF) teams achieved full operational capability (FOC) in early October, almost a year ahead of schedule, the US Navy’s Fleet Cyber Command/US 10th Fleet announced on 2 November.

All 40 of the USN CMF teams, which include approximately 1,800 personnel, are now fully operational and capable of fulfilling their assigned missions, a spokesperson for Fleet Cyber Command/US 10th Fleet told Jane’s .

It should be noted that FOC is not a measurement of overall combat readiness, but that all navy teams are now capable of operating at full mission capacity.
