Blue Origin will ‘soon’ start testing its BE-4 rocket engine that could serve as the first stage booster for future US Air Force (USAF) launches.

Blue Origin CEO Bob Smith made the remark on 5 October at the first meeting of the US National Space Council in Chantilly, Virginia. Blue Origin said in a 14 May Twitter post that it lost a set of powerpack test hardware on one of its BE-4 test stands on 13 May.
