French defence company Lacroix has opened a new office in Kuala Lumpur to strengthen its presence in the Southeast Asian region, the company announced at the Pacific 2017 exhibition in Sydney.
The office is operational from October 2017, and represents the company’s strategy to get closer to its customers and partners especially in Southeast Asia, said Jean-Marie Pascal, Lacroix’s deputy export sales director, in an interview with Jane’s .
“We are currently entering a phase to accelerate our international expansion,” said Jean-Marie, noting that the Lacroix already has offices in the United Arab Emirates and South Korea. “A focus of our efforts in the Southeast Asian region will be on countermeasures that can defeat the newer generation of missiles and torpedoes,” he added.
