- CAE USA sees closed-loop training and a common database as important technologies
- An executive hopes this will better position the company against competitors in simulation and training
CAE USA is banking on technologies such as closed-loop training and a common database to give it an edge over competitors in the world of simulation and training services, according to an executive.

Duquette said, in an interview at the company’s Dothan, Alabama, training centre, a closed-loop training process would adapt training to an individual’s needs, as opposed to putting students through a standardised curriculum, which he said is standard in military training.
