Appointment of Dos Santos loyalists to key Angolan cabinet positions increases policy continuity likelihood under new president

28 September 2017

Angola’s newly elected President João Lourenço on 28 September appointed a new cabinet, two days after being sworn in to replace outgoing president José Eduardo dos Santos, who had been in office for 38 years.
